EV EVAPORATOR is mainly used for concentration, crystallization, drying, separation and solvent recovery in the pharmaceutical, chemical and biopharmaceutical industries. The principle is to heat the rotating bottle at a constant temperature under vacuum conditions, so that the rotating bottle rotates at a uniform speed, and the material forms a large-area film on the bottle wall, which is effectively evaporated. 1. There is an electric lift motor inside the EV EVAPORATOR, which can automatically lift the flask to the position above the heating pot when the power is turned off.
2. Due to the centripetal force and friction between the liquid sample and the evaporating bottle, the liquid sample forms a liquid film on the inner surface of the evaporating bottle, and the heating area is large.
3. The force generated by the rotation of EV EVAPORATOR effectively inhibits the boiling of the sample. Combined with these features and their convenience, the rotary evaporator can be used to quickly and gently distill most samples, even by inexperienced operators.
When using EV EVAPORATOR, leakage is a relatively common failure phenomenon, which requires us to perform leak detection frequently during use. Since ammonia water is alkaline, phenolphthalein test paper will turn red when encountering benzene, so phenolphthalein test paper can be used to detect leakage. If you look closely, the leak is usually where there is no frost inside the EV EVAPORATOR. You can also use soapy water to locate leaks. Freon vaporizer leaks can be detected using halogen lamps and halogen leak detectors.
